Welcome to Hugh’s world of panoramas …
If a picture is worth a thousand words then a panorama must be worth ten thousand, especially a 360° (or spherical) panorama where you can look all around and in any direction you wish to.
The spoken and written word is interpreted differently by each person as they visualise in their own minds the scenes described. Images, paintings and photographs can more accurately portray scenes, views and vistas, but these are controlled by those producing them as they select orientation and perspective. Still images leave the viewer with many unanswered questions. How does a particular view relate to others in the same vicinity? What do you see if you were to turn left, right or completely around? How does a particular feature fit in the landscape. Full 360° Panoramas provide the answer.
As explained in www.hugh360.co.uk anyone with a camera and related software can create their own panoramas, but not everyone is willing to learn the skills required or invest in the equipment to provide superior results, which is where I can provide a service at reasonable cost plus travel and accommodation costs if the site is not close to my home in Dorset.
My skillis are in recording and creating the panoramas which can be incorporated into websites by their authors. Should you require both the panoramic photography and website development this can be provided in conjunction with binarylab.com as in the work carried out for Keith Prowse. The panoramas shown on this page are created by a joint cooperation between binarylab.com and 360hugh.co.uk.
My contact address is 360musafa@gmail.com.
However, the prime object of this site is to promote 360° (Spherical) Panoramas and to show how they can be used and contribute to promoting your own scenarios.
As the technology evolves acquiring 360° Panoramas and creating Tours continues to be ever more available and affordable.
