Since the summer of 2011 I have made some eight hundred panoramas, in conjunction with binarylab.com, to create Virtual Tours of hospitality suits for Keith Prowse, at more than a dozen renowned venues in England.
The challenge was to record the panoramas with minimum disruption to the guests who were enjoying a day out, which was easily achieved as the process is not intrusive. Perhaps more challenging was dealing with the movements of the guests between exposures, but the results on the Keith Prowse web site speak for themselves.
Customers looking at Hospitality Suits will have a myriad of questions as they wish to know if the faculties meet their requirements. Does the suite offer a good view of the activities? What is the food like? Is there a TV and what size is it? What is the access to the external seating? … These questions can be fielded in the verbal descriptions and with images, but interactive panoramas provide a versatile tool that potential Customers can use to look around and answer these questions for themselves.
The following panoramas are a sample from some of the venues.
The panoramas and virtual tours have reduced resolution to speed up uploading and downloading of the files.
