Edgbaston Cricket ground is the home of Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
The first match to take place here was against the MCC on 7^th June 1886.
The first test match to take place here was the first in the 1902 Ashes series and in 1997 the first floodlit day and night cricket match in Britain.
It is considered to be one of the leading cricket grounds in England and is reputed to the least disrupted by rain.
